Every tax cut has increased in the US has INCREASED the tax base. Kennedy did it in the 60's and the tax base increased. Reagan did it and the tax base increased. Clinton increased taxes and the surplus started disappearing in 2000. The tax cuts voted in last year I have not taken away the majority of Clinton's tax hike and look what a see a stalling economy that started back in late 1999, I'm living in reality. Deficits went up after Kennedy and Reagan tax cuts because of governments inability to curtail there spending.

Oh PS, why is it ok to tax your gas over $.40?, Think about it your paying about 30 - 40 % TAX on your gas and your beefing about oil companies? And that's after paying anywhere from 15% - 33% tax on you earned dollars to buy that gas that's where your outrage shoud be.
