Agreed with points about financial position, but they are better off than thy were 3 months ago from performance standpoint. It appeared that .13u process and .13u CPU were broken, and they don't look broken anymore.

They are also at a point of desperation which forces them to do a press release about samples a week before Intel

I think Intel did exactly the same thing with their mobile release recently. Machines were to ship a month from the announcement.
