Hardly. I think of it this way, a few people are opportunists who will say anything no matter how ridiculous to make a point- not unlike what TP is accused of, although at least he generally makes things up about people not on SI- which I think is a slightly classier act of fabrication, and generally in line with the public person versus private person distinction.
