I think having the thread's regulars decide who to associate with is appropriate. For one thing, if the thread regulars are so shallow that they would truly want to exclude anyone who would dare to disagree with them, why would the thread even be worth posting on?
I read but try to avoid posting on the thread in question. I have no problem with the original reason the thread was setup.

Here, there was a legitimate issue with a poster who did appear to be simply attacking and provoking to some degree.

Are you talking about JLA?

If you are talking about TP show me where he attacked anyone on the thread. Is there something wrong with provocative political, partisan posts. I laugh at TP’s posts because he is employing the same tactics that the far right has employed for years. It’s not like he is spamming his opinions on the thread day in night.

And yet, the thread regulars who were designated (pretty much everybody) did not kick the person off the thread.

My god man, it's supposed to be the boxing thread. It was originally started to exclude one person. Maybe the moderate and liberal thread members along with the conservative but unaligned with the posse members might want to consider that if few more of JLA's RWET member become "regular" they would have lost this one. If that happens, who is next? Far fetched? All Laz has to do is revise the head a 17th time.
