I got carried away waxing philosophical last night, but really, it’s all a good conversation and an exchange. In a sense, this is a really interesting juncture in the markets, with just about no predictability, at least in terms of hours to days. Beyond that, the intermediate trend is up (so far), and the long is down.
With all those gaps and sudden sharp moves, one must be anticipatory, but also conservative and careful. My feel is that if one is nimble, objective, and good with position sizing, it may be an intriguing opportunity.
