Richard, could not find one trade either way at 4 point spread. Most all trades today (btw. bid and ask) were actually 1.5 or 2 points until about 11:30 on heavier volume. Very light volume in afternoon with largest spread btw. trades 3 points with most trades at 2 points. (See lombard interday graph). Seems Market Makers were looking for the juice on just 40,000 or so shares traded in afternoon. Spread closed between trades to 1 to 2 pts. near the close. Not much out of the ordinary here today, other than the total days volume below 200,000 compared to 800,000 and 600,000 in previous two days. Next two days will be interesting. Neil
