Hi RtS, I've searched the world over for the Holy Graile. Alas it is not to be. That's definately why I'm a long term positional trader - no Holy Graile up my sleeve.gg All I know is the bottom isn't far off and it is easy to get scared at the bottom. I just keep adding to as much as I can - while making sure Mr. Margin will never make me do anything I don't want to. This looks like a good bottom in here.As for knowing when the turn comes - If the CEO's don't know - how in the world can we. I just take my position and wait for Mr Market and Mom Time to do the inevitable. Every cycle since 1985 - I've nevr known it just comes out of the unknown. I've learned that one has to be anticipatative or intuitive and then PATIENT. I never expect to get the exact bottom or the exact top it is the 50 % in the middle that is always more than enough. That lack of perfection applied over a lifetime will do great things. That's enough for me and I darn sure don't want to wish or wait my life away waiting for investment success. Bob Here's a neat statistic about Friday: Stocks up on increasing volume 177 Stocks down on increasing volume 348 Thursday: up on increasing volume 719 down on incresing volume 300 Not many people are thinking Thursday was worse than Friday. The Bear weakens as indexes decline for what I think will be support at a higher low. All the stories about equity flows coming into the market will have an effect. The Bull still sleeps but the Bear is getting far out of the woods and hunting season approaches.<VBG> Bob
