hmmm culinary imperialism? What if they want to eat people? IMO we have every right to say we don't approve of other countries consuming dogs, or daisies, or whales- we just don't have the right to invade them to force them to eat what we want them to, or keep them from eating what they wish to eat. We have (imo) every right to moral opinions about whatever we want, we just don't have the right to enforce those opinions by military force- but we have every right to enforce them in other ways. Just as we do in so many other areas. We decry the immorality of human rights abuses in a country, so we then restrict their trading privileges with us- and so on.
