<How does a Segway work without sidewalks? How about handling potholes? How much impact can a Segway take from another vehicle?>

Arun, go on the road [like a bicycle]. To handle bumpy terrain, they can have large diameter wheels with pneumatic tyres. But it would be better to have smooth surfaces of course. Impact resistance is similar to running and tripping = the person falls over and hits head on pole or something.

Right now, they are much too expensive. I'd rather buy a Tuk-tuk and sit comfy, out of the rain, though parking is a problem for tuk-tuks, cars and stuff. Segways don't take up much room at all.
