He twists and turns anything, literally anything, to try to come with an angle with which to attack Bush and the GOP.

hmmmm. That pretty much acknowledges that it was political anger.

As you know, I personally think people should be able to attack a president (or former president!) all they want, obsessively, even, if they want (even after the president they keep talking about and blaming everything on has been out of office for a looong time!), without being banned from a "free-for-all" thread.

One person's partison "angle" is another person's "truth." One person's partison "obsession" is another person's... er, obsession.

<g>

BTW, why is it nobody from the banning camp had any problem with the fact that I called Clinton a scumbag and a rapist?

Lots of people think he wasn't a scumbag, millions and millions of them; and he was never convicted of forcible rape. That was an opinion JLA didn't propose to ban me for expressing on more than one occasion, though to those who disagree (IOW, IMO, those didn't follow the case), it was probably an outrageous thing to say. Nobody proposed to ban me, though.

TP is a waste of time and bandwidth. He really contributes anything of any worth. He does the equivalent of tossing a stinkbomb into the room and running.

Like, you're saying TP is unique in this?
