You raise good points. I really have no insight into the foundry sector and need the feedback to understand. I don't think in terms of AMD only but of all the other recent partnerships.... Phillips, moto, ti, ect. Many engineers giving process knowledge. I think sometimes given enough dots anyone can draw a line...that is my concern and it's a 5 to 10 year type of shift I'm worried about.

My perception of foundries is that they are backed by governments in some cases and pride and ego in delivering the best is subsidized so normal business models don't always apply.

I guess I need something else to be paranoid about. I don’t feel good about the future of semiconductor manufacturing in the US so I will think more about short-term issues.
