The court transcript in perspective: Mr Fink wanted to put his cards on the table as late as possible. The defendants want to know what they are defending. The Markman case makes GIFT put whatever claims it has against these defendants, put in evidence as to what the patent is (The patent as Exhibit 1) Mr Freeney as witness "supreme"!

After this mini-hearing (compared to the OJ trial), the judge reserves decision and decides the scope of the patent. That decision is the key as far as we (investors) are concerned. I have good reason to believe (thanks old ex-IBMer buddy) that we win the Markman hearing.

That decision will be THE decisive moment for GIFT. I like the odds. Can you imagine the sudden "legitimacy" of the patent claims. I look foward to the hearing and the decision. Mel
