Also we have not learned that we could live more prosperous live with more efficient vehicles. At current fuel prices, if I switched from my SUV to the new Honda hybrid, I'd save $500 a year on fuel. However, I would not be able to haul trees, dirt, and rocks for landscaping (my hobby), nor could I ferry around my over 6 ft. tall husband and over 6 ft tall boys and their over 6 ft tall buddies plus the golden retriever. I'll pay the extra $500. You drive what you want, and I'll drive what I want. This being America, I have that right. This being America, however, you have the right to bitch all you want.
