I just watched a program on NBC tonight about this. They now have, NBC says, $750 billion in the U.S. The problem is that the average Saudi made about $22,000 a year a few years ago, and with no health care, education, and similar expenses, they lived well. That has been cut in half, and the Saudi public is becoming restless.
Privately, many would welcome bin Laden to overthrow the King.
Now, wouldn't that be just dandy.
