"Typically, averaging down does not work well for most individuals regardless." Yes, I agree. When you see stocks like sons -- down 99% from its highs -- it is a reminder that stocks can indeed go lower still. People buy stocks like this all the way down -- it is incredible. It makes more sense to sell your losers and don't look back.
