Here's why: SONICblue and JVC Enter Licensing Agreement Monday August 26, 8:04 am ET SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 26, 2002--SONICblue(TM) Incorporated (Nasdaq:SBLU - News) today announced that it has licensed its patented Dual-Deck(TM) technology to Victor Company of Japan, Limited ("JVC") for it to be incorporated into certain JVC-branded combination products including a DVD/VCR. The grant represents SONICblue's fourth major licensing agreement for this technology, following similar agreements with Thomson Multimedia, LG Electronics, and Samsung Electronics.
