Anything is possible.. within the perfected imagination?
I imagine myself being waited on hand and foot by the most attractive women, while living the most luxurious life, amidst fame and fortune on a peaceful planet, where man has discovered how to spend his time solely on leisure pursuits, such as badminton, surfing, skiing, and waking up the neighbours riding personal watercraft on crystal clear non polluted lakes while affording himself all the technology, health, the finest foods, longest life, and etc etc etc..robots do all the work, animals roam about at will, marriages never end in divorce, there are no diseases, criminals, or annoying children.. DNA cloning methods have perfected the human animal . everybody is beautiful and smart .. conflict can be solved by taking a pill. Everybody loves everybody.. there are no bad movies made, everyone takes turns being famous and brilliant. Libraries overflow with famous quotes and brilliant novels.. mostly about old times as you cannot write a good novel about things being nice all the time ...

but the suicide rate is out of control. everyone kills themselves before they turn 30... and having perfected human intelligence.. they can no longer find hairdressers, secretaries or investor relations persons...when the run the olympics everyone gets the same score on the pentatholon and finishes the marathon at the same time. there are no winners or losers anymore..

then one day, an inferior person is created... everbody paradoxically thinks that person is somehow better than they are.. and jealousy arises.. a plot begins.. more inferior people are created and more.. until people strive to create eccentricities in order to excel.. eventually the whole human race is, ugly, stupid and wierd and they are fighting and making mistakes and things are back to normal. Nobody is happy, but they put up with it, til the bitter end, as they are too stupid to quit. |
