Imagine the profitability that LU could potentially generate once her financial house is in order. Cisco has proven that this is the true way to compete in the 21st century.

There is no comparison. CSCO is essentially a monopoly in data networking. They got there by killing their competition (CS, COMS, and Bay Networks) in data networking.

LU has no sustainable advantage over NT, ALA or the like in telecom equipment, which is much more competitive than data networking. CSCO is able to make money in a weak environment because they have no one to compete with. In a competitive environment, LU won't be able to make any money until a few of the competitors are gone - but likely instead LU will be one of the ones that ends up gone, in my opinion.
