When murderers aren't executed, innocents suffer. Odds are a killer will be released at some point.

Bill, would you still favor the death penalty if all death sentences were replaced with life in prison without possibility of parole?

I am not sure of the stats, but I think in many if not most states, the life/no parole sentence is what you get instead of death for the most heinous crimes. I don't know where this author gets his "odds are a killer will be released at some point" statement. Are those really the odds? What exactly are those odds? 75 percent? 90 percent? 51 percent? Or is that just a phrase that the author used?
