I sent this email to a friend who tired of any warnings: (reverse pyschology might be far more effective now) to: Bruce header: everything will be fine I was just trying to alarm you in the past month everything will be fine the Federal Reserve will fix all the financial problems all these problems are very exaggerated I was just craving attention to repair my damaged ego the economy will emerge stronger than ever our political leaders are responsible, bright, and act in our best interest all the heavy debt burdens will be no big deal military adventures will bring peace to the world the dollar needs to come down a little anyway the trade gap (as ONeill says) is "irrelevant" the world will always be willing to finance our federal debt our citizens will have no trouble living the good life the accounting practices are now corrected offshore banks hiding debts were never a common practice the lawsuits will be dismissed as frivolous all the banking sector stress is very exaggerated we will all retire comfortably and our children will all be above average take it easy, Jim
