That's a piece of crap. I'm not even sure where to start. OK, how about the beginning? So THE SAME PEOPLE who killed the daft now want to kill the volunteer army???? Are these people literally idiots? THE SAME ARGUMENTS were made to them against the volunteer army back when the draft was abolished. Now they're GOOD arguments, eh? See what I mean about idiots? The politically powerful have always been able to dodge military service- -draft or otherwise. Pretending otherwise is naive. Pretending that that will deter a legislator from voting for war is stupidity. Does the author ACTUALLY BELIEVE that demonizing the enemy just started in the last few decades? Really? Amazing! Gee, I guess I must not have seen those propaganda posters showing the savage Hun from WW1 or the sneaky buck-toothed, coke-bottle-glasses Japanese from WW2. Does he believe Congress has never before gotten into a war for reasons that couldn't stand the light of day just because some poor dumb farmer's son was going to be the one getting shot at? The clown who wrote that couldn't find two IQ points to rub together.
