Catalyst Semiconductor Targets China Market; Cytech Technology Limited Appointed as China Sales Representative and Distributor
SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 26, 2002--Catalyst Semiconductor (Nasdaq:CATS) today announced Cytech Technology Limited, headquartered in Hong Kong, will represent Catalyst in China and Hong Kong. Cytech will represent and distribute all Catalyst's programmable products, including Flash memories, parallel and serial EEPROMs, NVRAMs, Digitally Programmable Potentiometers (DPP(TM)) and microcontroller supervisory circuits with EEPROM memory.
"China consumed over 24 billion ICs in 2001, with over 65 percent representing consumer and computer applications(1). These are key segments that Catalyst has successfully targeted in other Far East markets," said Catalyst Far East Sales Manager Tony Chen.
