I would tend to bet that abortion statistics are manipulated as much if not more so than criminal death penalty stats. I specify "criminal" as isn't abortion a death penalty as well?? <rhethorical question>

I agree that the word "innocent" was implied. Again though, I was just pointing out how stats can be manipulated, both by the numbers and the words, or in this case, the lack of words.

What would be a real interesting perspective would be the stats on paying for the criminal for a 'lifetime' compared to the earnings over a lifetime of those whom they murdered.
