Wbmw, regarding the 2.8GHz P4 intro'd today, last week we were seeing reports of super linear scaling on x87 FPU applications and today we see 100% scaling on SPECint, yet SPECfp showed no such improvement?? Is it that SPECfp uses SSE2 so no x87 improvements would be seen? So far we have seen both Integer and FP improvements with this stepping.

[edit: Intel has updated their SPECint scores on their webpage. The new score is 910 for the older 2.53GHz P4 so scaling is not 100%.]
