And I wasn't admonishing you for not stopping. I admonished E for not stopping. I admonished you for throwing a stink bomb and then looking around as if to say "who, me?".

That representation seems a bit, er... false and overgeneralized.

Baloney. Your statement was a classic logical fallacy known as a false dichotomy. I don't know whether you framed it that way because you honestly don't know any better or whether you were intentionally trying to provoke E. But it was textbook, in either case.
