Al, we have come to this position with Iraq to a large extent because of failures of the previous administration. I think Cheney's speech made it clear that
Bush doesn't want to leave it to risk that another weak administration will allow us to get into further trouble.


It's a hopeless waste of time to argue with someone whose agenda is to discredit what/who no longer matters. Cllinton's policies towards Iraq were a continuation of Bush 41's policies, unless of course you mean that the failure of previous administration was Bush 41's...only kidding....I know that no Republican could ever make mistakes in your eyes. I will shock you and tell you that I admire what Bush 41 did back in 1991...that is not going forward to Bagdad. I do not admire that he invaded Kuwait. I long for an America that is an example of peace in the world, not one that is in a perpetual state of war.
