>> From Dick Morris column in NY Post today: US has fought 10 military campaigns in the last 20 years. Total deaths are 849.

I normally don't respond to these posts. But the man you are quoting is a liar.

In Panama, it has been documented that more than 3000 Panamanian civilian poor people died in US attacks on Noriega's forces. They were living in shanties near the Panama military barracks.

In Somalia, several hundred Somalis died in the raid that killed the 8 American soldiers.

In the Gulf war, over 400 Iraqi civilians died in one raid on a bomb shelter.

In Kosovo, just one raid on an un-armed civilian convoy killed approx 70 or more Albanians fleeing the bombing.

For someone to say Total deaths are 849. marks them as a despicable racist whose opinions are not worth quoting, especially by someone who has shown himself as thoughtful and considerate, as you have.
