ALTERA came with $.52 vs street consensus of $.49, and sounded less uncertain about the next quarter than did Xilinx a week ago... I supect this means no negative bounce on Actel, making first buy tomorrow morning a good time. Just a reminder, consensus earnings estimates for Actel is $.17 and there is no range on that number (basically all analysts reporting to First Call say $.17). I'd say that Actel have given good guidance and will meet the number, possibly beat it by a penny... Third quarter visibility is said to be better than what either Xilinx or Altera said, though who knows what they will say in their conference call. Good luck... -tt
