No, global warming is supported speculation. The idea that it will easily be so extreme that it will cause a lot of problems that humans or non-human life will generally not be able to adjust to is unsupported speculation.

Only because you act like it will be a walk in the park. If global warming is real, and I have heard nothing from you to prove otherwise, then there will be dislocations varying from very unpleasant to frightening. I think its worth brining up some of those possible dislocations.

How is statements like "A severe ice age would not wipe out mankind." or similar statements about global warming, acting "like it will be a walk in the park"?

I would say that the dislocations will vary from nil to slightly frightening for developed countries and from nil to frightening for undeveloped countries if the current most popular theories about global warming are correct.
