How is it you see THIS as a dangerous scenario, but you don't see Saddam's development of nukes as "dangerous"? If control of Pakistan's nukes is lost, it is going to be up to the United States to deal with the problem. Same with Iraq. And if WE'RE going to have to control them later, we may as well take control of them now, before our population becomes a target.

No, your and your fellow Reps. are the ones inconsistent. Pak. has both nukes and missiles. Sodom doesn't have either. Pak. under the current leadership is as much a threat to our well being as Sodom. Their dictator is as much a tyrant as Sodom. The Pak. are also Muslim and have many Muslim fundamentalists. Yet, we are "allies" with Pak. and hate Sodom. You think that's consistent.........I think not!
