LOL!! That's right, attack the messenger, not the message. I've had a link to that review for a long time. If you'd actually read my post, you'd see that, repeatedly, I suggested that anyone considering a new server test their actual applications - something that you are clearly eager to talk him out of.

Why would that be? Why is Intel so afraid of potential buyers evaluating their application workloads on AMD servers?

Why did Intel find it so necessary to go to such extreme measures to distort the BAPCO benchmarks?

We'd all be so much better off if Intel would just spend half as much time and money designing products as they do manipulating benchmarks. If Intel would design adequate products in the first place, they wouldn't have to fake the benchmarks and spend so much time trying to talk people out of evaluating non-intel systems.

And they wouldn't have a class action lawsuit pending against them for misrepresenting the performance of P4.
