Agreed. Most people would not burn the flag for this reason.

"When you conquer a nation you take down their flag and raise your own. To take down the American flag by burning it is not simply expressing your criticism of some government action or representative it is advocating an over throw of America....treason."

That is nonsense. The flag is required to be burned when it is retired for wear and tear. Is this treason?? The flag may be burned for an infinite number of reasons.

Get real, Jewels. The Supreme Court disagrees with you, Karen disagrees with you, and I disagree with you...that ought to be enough disagreement to urge you to at least consider the possibility that you may be trying to catch a fish with a bird-call.

Burning the flag expresses an opinion, and is protected under the Constitution as FREE SPEECH. You are damn lucky you are allowed free speech. If you are bound, you must obey...
