I tend to agree with you about Barrett, for different reasons. I'm don't know if Ottelini is quite ready to take over. Barrett appears to be managing the company a lot better than he did early on, when, IMHO, he was really bad.

I'm don't know if there was a good reason for his earnings comments. One time he commented on Intel's earning during their quiet period, a major mistake, assuming it wasn't a calculated decision. He always seems to make his remarks when he is Asia, so that other markets have the opportunity to react before the US markets (jet lag?). Not exactly friendly to the US stockholders.

My humble opinion, as an Intel stockholder, is that there must be someone better than Barrett.
