Just observing from the air, so to speak...Several Bush I folks come out in the last 2-3 of weeks, saying, in effect, if we have to go to war, we must talk with our allies, and the American people, and lay out the situation.... (Is anyone so silly as to think the present Administration was unaware of these remarks were going to be made before they were made???) Then Condi Rice a couple of weeks ago, and yesterday VP Cheney says pretty precisely what needs to be done.... All sorts of movement at the ranch, quietly and publicly... Powell is where? Supplies and forces being gathered.... And our Congress wants to discuss it....but won't be back in town for awhile, and then the elections...so will want to wait until after that.... Anyone care to guess that the "discussions" could be "ongoing for some time" .... AND BOOM....something happens. Before we have finished "discussing" the situation with the home folks and our "allies".... Should we have seen this coming?....or is everyone dead, or about to be...? At least no one in the world can say we didn't warn everyone. Now what.
