Nadine, before you go too far down this road, let me urge you to read the link that was sent to me. It is a total critique of the Washington Times article, to the point of arguing the NEA website does exactly the opposite of the WTimes writer's assertions. Then read the NEA website to make certain for yourself. I have also read that the original material which caused the fuss has been pulled down from the NEA site. It wasn't the WT, it was a blog, but I don't remember which. But just because the offensive material isn't there now, it doesn't prove that it wasn't there before.
