Do Genisis and Leviticus speak for Jesus????
Genesis means the beginning, birth or generation. and yes since Jesus has beeen with the Father from forever, His name is through out the Bible.
<<<<Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.>>>>>
and look at this in Exodus 3:
<<<4And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.
5 And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.
6 Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob............>>>
the then 13: <<<13 And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?
14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.>>>
<<<John 8:57-58 Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham? Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.>>>
and again Jesus speaking in the Revelation letter: <<<22:13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.>>>
all through out the Bible Jesus assures us that He had been with he Fatehr from the beginning.
The other thing I'm curious about is why it was only the woman who was the sinner in the adultery case....where was the guy, why wasn't he mentioned???
It was only a trap by the so called treachers of the law, and Pharisees to try and trap Jesus into saying something they could snag him on. Jesus knew the man was not there, but I wonder what Jesus wrote in the sand?
<<<John 8:3-11 The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group and said to Jesus, "Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?"
They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him. But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, "If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her." Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground. At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. Jesus straightened up and asked her, "Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?" "No one, sir," she said. "Then neither do I condemn you," Jesus declared. "Go now and leave your life of sin."
And BTW, DNA has now freed more than 110 people from death row. How many more would be freed if the truth were known?
