You aren't reading carefully.
You only have to hate HIS beard. Mennonite beards, for example, are fine- and so is your home grown American beard. Of course it would be better if you died it red white and blue. But still.

Only Osama's beard is really really bad. And his followers have bad beards too. You must hate them also.
