Huh!? What??? You speak as if tranational progressivism were my philosophy, instead of a bastard child of multiculturalism, post-colonialism and warmed-over Marxism that I abhore. Far better the philosophy of our Founders, who gave no rights to any man as a member of his group, but only to the individual citizen.

This may not be CB's favorite moment but I agree with her characterization. I don't think she's charging you with changing arguments. Rather, that the speed with which you move from Al Q did this, to "radical Muslims" are at fault, to something is wrong with Muslim culture, suggests you see 9-11 as the fault of the Muslim religion rather than the act of a some oddballs.

I gather you disagree with Michael Doran's argument in the Hoge and Rose book, that we, the US, are somewhat accidental participants in someone else's civil war.
