"But i dont understand your point."

My point is that US foreign policy is deceptive and disingenuous and not likely to lead to positive ends. We ignore fundamentals and divide the Middle East into "friends", Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, etc., and "enemies", Iraq and Iran. Politically, socially, and religiously, the "friends" and "enemies" are the same. The only difference is their willingness to stay powerless and to support US interests. I believe that the US must convince our Arab "friends" that they must convince Saddam to allow a US military force to come to Iraq and eliminate Iraq's non-conventional weapons capability. We must accept Saddam's continued rule, provide a timetable to complete the mission, and offer economic and political incentives. I don't think our policy of vilifying Saddam and a violent attack that could lead to many innocent deaths is the best method. We must use threat to achieve our objectives with minimal casualties. We must convince all concerned that we view this situation as urgent.
