I don't disagree, save for the talk about VIX and VXN.

Yes, VIX went to the same high as Sep low. Is that enough for such an historic decline? Dunno.

VXN, until last couple of days, was way closer to the low end than the high end. Also, it did not threaten the high hit at the Sep lows, even though we went way below them. VXN is flashing sell.
