Pentium Prices Reduced Ave. 20% On 8/1/96
Anyone else see Intel's release of last night on Reuters regarding
their Pentium prices effective 8/1/96. It looks like they expect the
PC makers to just order 20% more CPUs to keep their revenues flat.
I found that Lombard and Schwab (+ others?)do not carry Reuters so
here is a summary. Of course Intel's margins will be uneffected(?).
Wouldn't it make sense to send it via Dow Jones or PRNewswire also?:
I found it via AOL Company News, but now it is gone - very strange.
Pentium Pentium Pro

Intel says 3rd qtr. revenues will be flat again (Q4'95/Q1/Q2/Q3=4.6B).
I used to think you had to grow sales to be called a growth company.
