if Lucent can get through this quarter with about flat sales, it will rise fast to the high $2s.

Yeah, so what? As their revenues decline during all of next year and they lose money and their debt come due and they declare bankruptcy, and the equity value goes to zero, who cares if the stock made it all the exciting way to the (hold your breath here) "high $2s" before it went to zero???
