That said, they provide for Americans better than any other country, and you can choose to work for whoever you want, or you can do it yourself. "I'm not sure you're in the loop on a lot of this stuff" More than you think probably, but not directly. I work for myself representing these big mean companies. Have seen corporate greed at pretty astounding levels (although it was mainly one idiot, who nobody liked that is now gone), and have seen unions shoot themselves in the foot and cost their workers jobs (because of greed imo). "If you really want to succeed in the corporate world, you need to be a cold-blooded asshole." Bull-crap. I think you and I have a different perspective on success. What comes around goes around. Note that I am not saying there are no cold-blooded assholes out there, but many of them are hard working, smart, honest folks. It is not a prerequisite to be an asshole.
