So it seems that the attack was conceived in Hamburg, planned in Asia, Europe and the US, and executed in the US. The budget was apparently $500,000. The striking thing about the account, to me at least, was that none of the planning, training, or any other operational work took place in an Arab country or one with known Islamist connections (with the exception of Malaysia, which has not been granted axis-of-evil membership).

Those who believe that such attacks require State support or "safe havens" granted by sympathetic governments should look very carefully at this.

As I've said before, the critical part of this war is NOT invading countries or replacing regimes. It is the uprooting of the terrorist infrastructure entrenched in the West. This infrastructure is perfectly capable of attacking us without state support, and extended US occupation of Arab nations may very well make their recruitment and fund raising easier.
