In every month end in 2002, during the last 3-days of the month the Dow has dropped below the 3rd to the last day's close intra-day on the 2nd to the last day. It has always had a higher close on the last day of the month than the 3rd to the last day of the month, usually by no more than 100-points, however.

The average drop has been about 140 points. The smallest around 50-points. The largest - July at 227 points.

Here's the Dow chart, with falling support at around 8500 tomorrow, which is about 200-points below today's close:

Watch this level for a bounce. The end of month games say this is nearly a lock for a 1-1/2 day bounce.
