So the options are 1)have Bush's soldiers on our street corners or 2)double our spending on the military. I'm not particularly fond of either option. A third option is to simply decide we don't need to put soldiers in all our air and sea ports just because some crackpot with a bomb gets through once in a while. I'd rather have a 0.00001% additional chance of being the victim of a terrorist attack than have a 100% chance of having my freedom and convenience restricted. -g (whycantweallholdhands.org)
