Just read an editorial by David Hackworth. DH apparently believes the fist is presently being closed, to punch out Saddam. news-miner.com If it happens I'm thinking sometime in Nov., due to local weather issues. Here is a link to Hackworth's site, with various tidbits. sftt.org For those that don't know Hackworth is a very highly decorated former US soldier, who resigned his command during the peak of the Vietnam war. Apocolypse Now was supposedly made to somewhat mimic Col Hack's camp in the boonies. Apparently the local enemies left Hack and his boys alone, for good reason. One of the best books I've ever read was by Hack, 'About Face'. Hack had and supposedly still has a lot of contacts on the inside. Some would consider Hack a little off the wall to put it mildly. FWIW.
