Dear Mr. Flondella,

Before leaving for vacation, Peter Troop asked me to follow up on a question that you raised in your recent email concerning John Young's compensation.
In reference to that inquiry, when Mr. Young's role changed from Acting CEO to Vice Chairman, his compensation was reduced. However, it is our corporate policy not to comment on employee compensation except as required in Novell's annual proxy.

Sincerely,
Estelle Stephens

Dear Peter,
Thank You for your most recent communication concerning Novell's
marketing efforts for NDS Borderware products. I find that quite
uplifting.
On the other hand you could really make my day if you informed me that John Young, a BOD member, was no longer collecting 10K per week in consulting fees, and/or document for me, a shareholder who is not being paid 10K per week by Novell. Exactly what it is that Mr. Young is doing for us that is worth 10K per week?
Putting an end to these rumors, of 10K per week being handed out to a
BOD member in the midst of masssive layoffs, or perhaps clarifying the
facts of Mr. Young's consulting agreement would certainly help the
stockholder's understand the interests of our current Board of Directors in relation to those of the shareholders of this company.
Sincerely,

Paul FIondella

She can't even spell my name write.

But now I understand why we didn't get a CEO for 7 or 8 months, John Young had to collect his 10K per week paycheck!
