I don't agree that we need more policing. We need less policing of laws that have nothing to do with criminality. We need to eliminate victimless crimes by changing laws, not by more repression. That would free up some police for more important tasks.

We also need to restore Canadians rights to defend themselves. To do this, we need to adopt a more classical liberal approach to private property.

We couldn't defend ourselves from a nutcase with a grudge, never mind an invasion. If we're lucky, we won't have to defend from either. So far, we have been capable of avoiding threats. We may not always be able to do that, and when the time comes, I'd rather have U.S. troops here than Chinese or Russian.
