ARABS keep refugees from Palestine in camps for 54 years because they hope to use them to destroy Israel. And, today, ARABS rally around Saddam and lecture the President of the US on Middle East "peace"." Cary, I stand corrected on calling the arabs palestinians in 1947. Your history is correct. I am glad to see you supporting our president.<g> HOWEVER, whatever you want to call the occupants of the land of palestine that is not part of the state of Israel, those folks are entitled to self-rule if they give up the annihilation of Israel as their job #1. If Arafat had said yes to barak, i maintain that the two states could be getting along ok today. The extreme hatred that now exists between the two peoples did not exist in 1999. I am sure you will agree with that on the Israeli side. I maintain that most of the Arabs in Palestine would have welcomed peace back then. Yes, Hamas and the other bastards may have killed the peace, but perhaps not. The occupation is unsustainable over time. But you are probably right about nasdaq 5000 before peace. Mike
